How is enolve different from Q&A sites and discussion forums?
Q&A sites, bulletin boards, and forums are essentially “comment sections” with different styles and variations. Comment sections are linear conversations about one topic. Connecting, and referencing to another topic is possible, but it’s not a core feature or the intended purpose of comment sections.
While enolve will also give you the ability to comment on all entries, the primary feature of enolve is to CONNECT entries in 4 different directions ([1] root causes, [2] issues/symptoms, [3] terminal goals, [4] solutions). This creates an interconnected, multidimensional network.
Instead of just scrolling down a newsfeed, or scrolling down a comment section, enolve gives you 4 choices in which direction you want to further explore the network: You can explore root causes, symptoms, goals, or solutions for each problem.
The real trick is the “recursive” nature of enolve: Every root cause or symptom is a further problem-entry, which you can then once again explore in multiple directions.
In order words, enolve creates an explorable map of knowledge, to help us orient ourselves and find the right path - or create an entirely new path that no one has taken before.
